Current time in Scheduled Flow

I will admit. I have used the Scheduled Flow card hundreds of times. Only recently did I notice it has the Current Time field. So, if you need the time when the flow runs or the current time for something else, it’s automatically available in a flow.

Create field with the Assign card

The Assign card is one of my favorite cards. The card creates a field and assigns a value to it. In the screenshot below, the Assign card assigns the value of Current Time to Now field. The Now field has Date & Time type.

You can now use the Now field elsewhere in the flow.

The following card shows four examples creating fields with values. Note that every field has a value type set.

• Count (Number).
• Message (Text).
• API Header (Object)
• Food (List)
