Okta Workflows Tips #60: Check If a User Sign-in Is Successful

Check sign-in

The following flow runs when a user tries to sign-in and continues if the sign-in is successful. The flow then sends a message via email. If the sign-in is unsuccessful, the flow stops.

The Okta-User Sign In Attempt event triggers when a user tries to sign in with a password. The flow will not trigger when a user uses MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). Use the Okta Devices-User MFA event to trigger a flow when a user uses MFA.
